    My cooking is home-style, family-oriented. In Sicilian culinary tradition, we pay special attention to the quality of the ingredients, which must be seasonal and local. For this reason, the ingredients for our cooking class will be selected directly at the local market. We’ll start with a pleasant tour of the Ortigia market, where we’ll choose the best seasonal products for our recipes. Then we’ll head to my home, located in the heart of the historic center, just a 5-minute walk from the market, for a hands-on lesson on how to prepare an appetizer, a first course, a main course, and a traditional Sicilian dessert. At the end of the lesson, we’ll sit down together and enjoy the dishes we’ve prepared, for an authentic and convivial lunch.

    Born and raised in Syracuse, a land rich in history and tradition, I have always had a strong passion for the restaurant and hospitality world. After working in various establishments abroad, including London and Malta, I have gained solid experience that allows me to interact with an international clientele. My cooking is simple and traditional, inspired by family recipes and the authentic flavors of Sicily. I enjoy gathering aromatic herbs like wild mint and fennel to enhance my dishes. My culinary offerings include dishes such as parmigiana, caponata, Palermo-style sardines, cavatelli alla norma, meatballs in sauce, mixed fish spaghetti, and my specialty: mussels wrapped in lemon leaves. All dishes are prepared with seasonal, local ingredients, respecting tradition.
