- Last week, I very last minute booked a cooking workshop with Maria Rita with my husband & parents. And it was truly a-ma-zing! Maria Rita is a beautiful, genuine person, very approachable and a wonderful chef. We immediately felt right at home. I made a request and so she taught us no less than 3 (or actually 4!) typical Sicilian dishes including pizza Margherita, 2 types of pasta with a delicious pistachio pesto and cannoli 🤤 My husband, parents and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can’t wait to get started myself with all these delicious dishes! 😍 If you have even a slight passion for cooking I say DO IT!

She gave us options about what we wanted to make. She made sure we were all comfortable and happy. Maria was also hysterical, I spent half the night laughing. Making pasta is not always easy but Maria made sure to help when it was needed and never moved too fast. Maria, was full of life and made this experience unforgettable. This was hands down my favorite activity during my 2 week trip to Europe! If I ever come back to Syracuse, I will make sure to take another one of Maria's classes!
