Your experience
During this experience, I will offer you a sweet and delicious menu that combines sweet, savory and smoky flavors to delight your palate.
We will begin with a tasty and traditional appetizer: you can choose from a mushroom and bacon pie or a fresh and colorful winter salad. Next, I will serve you a creamy cream of homegrown potatoes with speck and herbs. For the main course, you'll delight in traditional venison stew, accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a crisp, fresh sauerkraut salad. Finally, to end on a sweet note, you can choose from a fragrant apple strudel or a chestnut cake rich in flavor and tradition. All will be accompanied by a rich aperitif with croutons and an excellent local wine.

- Bellissima esperienza, vissuta con tutta la mia famiglia. La sig.ra Gerti ci ha accolti aprendo in tutti i sensi la porta della sua casa, coccolandoci, chiacchierando con noi, ma allo stesso tempo mai invadente! Raccontando della sua vita e le sue esperienze! Ha insegnato a mio figlio tanti piccoli trucchi per cucinare con passione e amore. Grazie mille
- Gerti ci ha accolto a casa sua a Merano con estrema gentilezza e professionalità. Ci ha coccolati prima con un super aperitivo e poi con una cena altoatesina deliziosa, insegnandoci step by step a preparare i canederli fatti a mano e lo strudel. Abbiamo chiacchierato, incontrato una persona meravigliosa e imparato tante cose nuove. Consigliamo vivamente questa esperienza!
- Gerti welcomed our party of four in her cozy home in Meran, in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, for a beautiful Sunday lunch. She did not only share her culinary experience with us - the food was healty, hearty and amazing at the same time - but she also told us great stories about how her family lived up until the 1970's in their property in Val Venosta. I can only highly recommend this unique experience.
- L'esperienza con gerti è stata fantastica. l La sua casa, la sua cucina e la conversazione sono state fantastiche. Le erbe fresche del suo orto, le uova delle galline di suo fratello e le ricette di sua nonna hanno reso magica la serata per il compleanno di mio marito è stato stupefatto (persino Gerti mi ha contattato per il compleanno di Barry e ha preparato una torta appositamente per lui). Racconterò sicuramente ai miei amici di questa esperienza con Cesarine e consiglierò Gerti se andrò a Merano e ovviamente tornerò con lei in futuro. Grazie tante Gerti tu sei meravigliosa!!
- Grazie Gerti! Abbiamo passato una serata splendida con Gerti. La sua hospitalita era incomparabile. Ha spiegato tutto che volevamo sapere e ci ha lasciato cucinare. Abbiamo ricevuto le copie delle ricette e tante racommande come preparare i canederli e lo strudel alla perfezione. Gerti aveva per noi anche un aperitivo, una zuppa, un dessert e tanti „segreti“ di una casalinga Italiana che vive per la sua passione di cucinare. L‘ambiente nell‘appartamento era spledido anche. Grazie per tutto!
