We can explore and experience classic Mitteleuropean Trieste cuisine at the home of our Cesarina, Giovanna. Giovanna loves simple traditional cooking made with fresh ingredients and seasonal fruits and vegetables. She seasons her dishes using excellent olive oil, aromatic herbs and spices, with small forays into the kitchens of the world. In Giovanna’s kitchen, you will discover a pantry laden with sauces, preserves, pasta, spirits and sweets, all strictly homemade.

- Giovanna è molto ospitale e preparata. E' stato bello entrare nella sua cucina di casa e condividere la sua esperienza. Il risultato è stato molto piacevole ma soprattutto ha saputo sorprendermi con un ottimo strudel. Unica pecca c'ero solo io. Forse metterei un minimo di 2\3 ospiti perchè ritrovarsi a mangiare solo in soggiorno forse non è stato il massimo, l'ho vissuta più come una serata tecnica sulla pasta che sulla serata d'intrattenimento. - Giovanna did a beautiful job creating a lovely experience. We cooked the most delicious food and she herself is so interesting as a traveler, an artist and a beautiful cook. We enjoyed eating in her beautiful space as she created a luxury experience.
- I really enjoyed the walk through the market. We then enjoyed some nice cooking of pasta and Tiramisu with strawberries. Giuvanna was a wonderful host. She was full of knowledge about food and traditions..
