Southern Italy has a charm all its own. Some feel as if time had stopped in some of the villages of Salento, where ancient traditions quietly mix with the contemporary. On the streets you can still hear the sound of the bells that marks the passing of the hours, you can see elderly ladies, custodians of times gone by, and in the air you will inevitably smell the scent of all the good things to eat that are slowly taking shape in the kitchens of the locals. We are here in Galatina to enjoy an experience founded in art, history and, of course, food. Our guide, Cesarina Maria Grazia, has us sample the traditional products of Salento. She has always been passionate and, in particular, curious about everything related to the world of cooking. She loves to take special care in preparing the traditional recipes of Salento, experimenting with the variations of its tradition. Her passion transpires whenever she cooks for friends, who often gather around the table to enjoy a relaxing time. It’s definitely an experience to try!
