I have Bergamasque roots, but it was my heart that led me to discover Calabrian cuisine: a cuisine of conviviality, of dishes passed from hand to hand around the table, of ancient pasta shapes, leavened breads, and meatballs. A cuisine shaped by traditions carefully preserved and handed down by grandmothers, born from the need to store and make the most of the produce that the vegetable garden offered in a land of farm laborers.Mine is a plant-based cuisine that embraces and welcomes people around the table, one that speaks of roots, traditions, and seasonality.
