    ¿Te gustaría aprender a hacer la auténtica mozzarella, tal y como la hacían nuestros abuelos y abuelas? Te abriré las puertas de mi cocina para desvelarte los secretos de este antiguo arte. Comenzaremos con la teoría, para comprender los procesos, y luego nos dedicaremos a la práctica, elaborando juntos pequeñas cuajadas y transformando la cuajada en auténtica mozzarella fresca.

    Esta obra maestra será el ingrediente principal de un menú especial que prepararemos juntos: un entrante de bruschetta con mozzarella recién hecha, un primer plato de ñoquis a la sorrentina, donde nuestra mozzarella será el ingrediente estrella, y un postre tradicional para terminar con broche de oro. Será una experiencia única, un viaje por los sabores y la historia de mi familia.

    Maria Francesca gave us an amazing experience on learning to make gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu. She explained things well to us and walked us through each step. Maria Francesca's bubbly personality helped make the class a fun experience and a gracious host. Her offering to come pick us up at our hotel to take us to her house was an added bonus, especially since her house is a bit remote from where we were and hard to find. Since there were six of us she enlisted a family member to help transport us all to and from her home. We definitely tested her skills as we were the largest group she has ever had. It was a learning experience for her to have a group that large. Time management was the largest challenge because of that. My recommendation would be for her to have a handout with the recipes for the gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu. And this is the reason I only gave 4 stars. If I could give an extra 1/2 star I would because Maria worked with us after the fact to get us recipes via messaging app. We would definitely recommend Maria Francesca to anyone to do a pasta class with. And if we ever go back to that region we would definitely try and book her again with her teaching us how to make some different pastas.

    This is by far one of my favorite things we did on our trip to Italy! It was lovely getting to meet a local cook and see her home and talk to her. We were with Maria Francesca and she was so kind and fun! She even picked us up and dropped us off which was a huge help! She also boxed up the leftovers for us. Maria Francesca answered all of our questions and made great conversation all while keeping careful watch of the food and preparations. I am a horrible cook but under her instruction we had the best dinner we've had so far! I would absolutely do this again with Maria!

    «Mi pasión por la cocina nació cuando, al regresar a Italia, mi abuelo me dejó un huerto en las colinas de Sorrento que empecé a cultivar junto con mi hermano. El hecho de disponer de materias primas tan frescas me animó a profundizar en cómo cocinarlas. Mi tierra ofrece productos genuinos que cultivo en mi huerto y, gracias a los limones de mi huerto, preparo una deliciosa caprese al limón. Me encanta recibir invitados, la hospitalidad es algo innato en mí».
