    Adéntrate con nosotros en las callejuelas del centro histórico de Modica, Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO, para descubrir sabores auténticos y bellezas únicas. Degustaremos el famoso chocolate de Modica, heredero de la tradición española, disfrutando de unas vistas impresionantes mientras paseamos por los barrios. Probaremos quesos locales como la ricotta y el caciocavallo, y las tradicionales scacce, auténtica comida callejera ante litteram. En verano no puede faltar la granita con su inseparable «brioscia col tuppo». Terminaremos con la 'mpanatigghia, la galleta de viaje celebrada por Leonardo Sciascia, rica en historias y sabores sorprendentes. Todo ello inmersos en la elegancia del barroco de Modica, entre palacios e iglesias que cuentan la historia de esta ciudad única.

    Isabella was a great host and teacher at our cooking class last night. The family was very nice and wellcoming us in their home. Isabella was teaching us how to prepare traditional Sicilian food.     Hi, Isa contacted me in the morning to make sure we knew where we were meeting at 10am. She was very passionate about modica, sicily and wanted to know what we wanted to eat and very much tailored the tour to our choices. An absolutely fabulous experience, great places to eat and Isa was a fantastic host. We learned a great deal about modica and it's traditional foods. I would recommend Isa as she was caring and passionate about the food in modica. Great trip!

    Cooking class with Isabella was such a tremendous highlight of the time my son and I spent in Sicily. Isabella's house in the countryside has many fruit trees and a wonderful herb garden, and she took great pleasure in teaching us about the local food culture. Isabella was very generous with her time, accommodated our interests, and taught us recipes as we cooked together. Finally we shared a wonderful dinner with her family - yes, it was a cooking class, but really it was also sharing a dinner with family in someone's beautiful home - a wonderful travel experience. Thank you!

    Mi cocina es el corazón de la casa: aquí mi familia se reúne cada día para celebrar la vida cotidiana, las tradiciones y los momentos especiales. Es un espacio luminoso y acogedor, lleno de recuerdos, libros, objetos artesanales y aromas de Sicilia: hierbas aromáticas, verduras de nuestro huerto, vinos locales, cerámicas y fotos de familia. Recibimos a los huéspedes con los sabores de la tradición: raviolis de ricotta con salsa de carne y salchicha, pan casero con harinas sicilianas y las especialidades de la rosticceria modicana, como scacce, scifiteddi, pastieri y buccatedde, acompañadas de aceitunas, ricotta fresca, arancini y caponata. También hay un toque personal: la polenta bergamasca con carne al sugo siciliano, que cuenta nuestra historia de regreso. Todo está elaborado con ingredientes locales, genuinos y de temporada, muchos de los cuales cultivamos o producimos nosotros mismos: harinas molidas a la piedra, aceite de nuestros olivos, huevos de nuestras gallinas, verduras y hierbas de nuestro huerto. Y, siempre, mucha pasión transmitida por mi madre y mi abuela.
