Au cœur des collines des Abruzzes, entre mer et montagne, novembre marque le début de la récolte des olives et des premières pressées d'huile d'olive extra vierge. Pendant cette période spéciale, les ménagères préparent les traditionnelles « rivotiche », une recette simple et savoureuse à base d'eau, de farine et d'huile nouvelle. La pâte crépite dans la poêle, dégageant des parfums authentiques. Dès qu'elles sont prêtes, les rivotiche sont garnies de charcuterie locale typique et servies chaudes, roulées et accompagnées d'un verre de Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Une expérience gustative qui raconte l'âme de la cuisine des Abruzzes.

The experience at Stefania's was amazing! We had a lot of fun while cooking and talking and enjoyed the awesome hospitality of Stefania and her husband. The food was absolutely great and the organisation perfect. We loved to be in their elegant house, in their spacious kitchen, which combines modernity and tradition and we learned so many interesting facts about their history, culture, traditions. We highly admire both of them and we are honored to have been for a while with them. 5 stars from all points of view. A big hug from us all. 😀

Absolutely fabulous evening with Stefania! She was very welcoming. Food was exceptional and we learned how to make pasta! She even got my husband excited about cooking. We (mother & daughter) were looking for a real Italian cooking class and Stefania was the most amazing host and chef! She knows everything about cooking and she shares all her knowledge with you. Her English is good, and a translating app helps for the more difficult words. Even before we arrived she contacted us for our wishes and made sure everything was beautifully prepared. We enjoyed our own cooking in the garden, and her husband Marcello joined us. We had such nice conversations about everything and we felt so welcome in their home. We would recommend everyone that visits the Abruzzen to also visit Stefania, you will experience an amazing cooking class and you will leave inspired! Janneke & Irene

Des pâtes faites maison aux pizzas, focaccias, pains et desserts, mes préparations sont variées. J'ai suivi des cours de boulangerie avec une attention particulière pour les caractéristiques des farines. Je me considère comme une experte en plats de pâtes et j'aime partager des moments conviviaux, enrichis par une excellente sélection de vins de ma cave !
