La mia è una cucina che trae origine dalla terra piemontese. I prodotti sono tutti locali e selezionati (carni, verdure, formaggi, profumi freschi) così come ovviamente i vini abbinati ai piatti. Cerco di essere più lineare possibile nella preparazione anche se la cucina di Langa richiede talvolta tempi lunghi e complesse procedure. Per me è essenziale riconoscere sempre gli elementi base di un piatto. Non amo le stranezze, i prodotti che abbiamo qui bastano e avanzano!

Via Cesarine boekten wij een food & wine pairing with a local. De communicatie was heel soepel. De bedoeling was een bezoek aan Moscone winery met een wijnproeverij en eten gemaakt door Gian Paolo ter plekke. Door een probleem in de keuken werd het programma aangepast. Eerst bezochten wij het wijnhuis, waar we een privé rondleiding kregen van Denis. Met passie vertelde Denis over de geschiedenis van t wijnhuis, de wijnen, het productieproces, de wijngaarden en beantwoordde al onze vragen. Na de rondleiding reden wij achter Denis aan naar Serralunga d’Alba waar Gian Paolo ons verwelkomde in zijn huis. Hij liet ons de keuken met het prachtige uitzicht zien waarna we met z’n vieren plaatsnamen op het terras. Gian Paolo vertelde ons over het belang van balans tussen wijn en eten. Bij elke gang van heerlijke gerechten met regionale producten, proefden we wijn van Moscone. De gerechten waren eenvoudig en super lekker. De combinatie was geweldig. We hebben de hele avond gepraat over allerlei onderwerpen (niet alleen wijn en eten) en hadden mooie gesprekken. Het voelde alsof we met vrienden aan tafe zaten. Al met al was het een geweldige avond die we niet snel zullen vergeten. Dank je wel Denis en Gian Paolo.

We had a wonderful evening with Gian Paolo! We loved our cooking lesson. We learned local recipes and had fun preparing them. We had a lovely meal with Gian Paolo, paired with delicious wines. It was a wonderful evening. I highly recommend the experience.

I traveled to Italy with two of my girlfriends and we wanted a fun cooking experience that we could still gain technical skills from. 10/10, cannot more highly recommend Gian Paolo. During our time together, we made a few "simple" dishes that were exceptionally delicious, and also learned much about the Italian culture around food and cooking. Gian Paolo was very warm, but he also let us have time to just take it all in. If you're traveling in the Piemonte wine region and looking for a cooking class, work with Gian Paolo!

What an incredible experience!! Gian Paolo was the most incredible host. He invited us into his home and taught us how to cook some of the most incredible dishes. We had some much fun cooking, drinking incredible wine and talking with Gian Paolo. I would recommend this to anyone coming to this area. It doesn’t get any better than that! Thank you Gian Paolo🙏🏼
