Ciao da Raffaella!

La casa di Raffaella si trova vicino al centro di Modena, dove inizia la storica via Giardini, che fin dal 1781 congiunge Modena e Lucca, attraversando gli Appennini. L’ambiente in cui la nostra Cesarina riceve gli ospiti è una casa liberty in cui la nostra Cesarina ha conservato con cura e amore gli oggetti e gli arredi di famiglia. Con gli stessi sentimenti, Raffaella, che oltre alla passione per la cucina coltiva anche quella per le lingue streniere, e in particolare per l'inglese e il tedesco,  accoglie amici e ospiti, coccolandoli con i profumi e i sapori dei suoi piatti.

Rafaella opened her kitchen to us, shared her recipes, and made us feel very welcome. My daughter and I really enjoyed the experience, company, and delicious food. Thank you so much Rafaella and Happy Birthday to you!

We has a wonderful time learning to make tortelli, tigelle and tiramisu with Raffaella. She was very knowledgeable and made things very simple to understand. She was incredibly kind and generous and made sure we did not rush through the lesson or the meal afterwards. We really appreciated her giving her time and her home to teach the lesson. We would recommend that anyone book a class with Raffaella.

It was an incredible experience! We definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to cook traditional modenese cuisine. My wife and I had a wonderful time with Raffaella. Besides cooking three traditional and very delicious dishes of our choice (tortelli with ricotta and spinach, tortellini with broth and tiramisu), we had good talks and learnt also some "secrets" about other modenese dishes like ragout. When we are in Modena again, we would do it once again.

Rafaela was an amazing host. SHe taught us how to make torteloni, taglieteli and tiramisu. She was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitley reccomend.

We had a wonderful cooking class with Rafaela! My family of four loved every minute of it. She contacted us the day before to ask about preferences for what we would like to learn to make. We said local cuisine and tortellini. She exceeded our expectations. She was very informative about local cuisine and culture and talked us through the recipes and process. The only challenge was we were there during very hot weather and there was no air conditioning, but we still enjoyed the evening. We highly recommend this experience.
