Food Tour: discover the best places where to taste the finest local food & wine
Let me take you on a journey through Montescaglioso, my hometown – a place full of history, ancient churches, charming alleys that smell of freshly baked bread, and above all… people who truly love their land.
We’ll start with a market tour, walking through the heart of the town and stopping by local food artisans: cheesemakers, bakeries, wine shops. You’ll have the chance to taste and purchase genuine products made with care and tradition. Along the way, we’ll hunt for fresh vegetables and seasonal produce, handpicked from market stalls and small neighborhood shops. Then, we’ll head to my home, where I’ll guide you through a hands-on cooking class. I’ll be there every step of the way, making sure you understand the whole process so you can easily recreate the recipes in your own kitchen.

- We had an amazing cooking class / experience. I am so glad I did not chose one of those large classes inside some building. This class felt more like visiting old friends. Warm and kind. We learned more than what I signed up for. Highly recommend a class with Filomena (Cesarine). Would love to do it again and again.
- Excellent!
- Filomena and Antonella were amazing. Not only was Filomena a fabulous host and teacher she welcomed us into her home and made us feel right at home. her daughter was a gem! The instruction and the 3 course meal we prepared was excellent. I cannot wait to get home and make it all over again. Teaching us to make three pastas exceeded our expectations as well. Great Pulia experience, Bravo! 🇮🇹
- It was a great experience and I loved seeing her home and gardens . It was an opportunity to experience real italian day to day life with a wonderful meal we helped prepare and enjoy . 💕

Filomena was a gracious host! She welcomed us in her home like we were family! Showed us how to make several different pasta's, Egglant appetizer and Tiramisu. We sat at her beautiful outdoor patio and enjoyed a delicious home made pasta, with sausage and mushrooms. It was sooooo good! Can't wait to make it when I go home. Her daughter Antonella was adorable and loved hearing how the young adults live in. Puglia. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone! Ciao! -
