Buccellato and typical Sicilian sweets.
Christmas tradition in homemade sweets! Upon arrival, a welcome drink will be offered under the big Christmas tree. Then we will lace up our aprons and begin to knead three different types of Sicilian Christmas treats, buccellato, zuccata pastries and almond sweets. At the end of the baking, intoxicated by the smells from the kitchen, we will return to the sofas in the living room and taste these delicacies with homemade liqueurs from limoncello, nocino, mandarinetto, and Sicilian blood orange bitters, while listening to good music. The event will conclude by watching a short film projected on a mega screen about the Selinunte Archaeological Park by the UniPa Faculty of Architecture.

Reviews
- If you like your food, then this is the place to go! Many freshly prepared dishes that would have taken hours of preparation before arrival we’re prepared. And the variety, quantity and quantity were exceptional. The guests helped with directions when arriving and welcomed warmly into their home - where many of the ingredients were grown in their own garden. I watched how pasta was made from scratch and the typical fillings were made, taking notes and photos so I could remember. The guest’s 92 year old mother joined us for dinner - it was a full family experience with daughters also present at the start - who spoke English. Recommended for this who love their food and want an authentic Sicilian experience! :)
