The experience begins with an aperitif, presented in a cozy corner with sofas, located in front of a wall screen. On this a short and fascinating video about the ancient archaeological ruins of Selinunte will be projected.
During the cooking class we will learn together how to make some typical dishes of this area, recipes where our black bread, Nocellare del Belice oil, Sicilian wheat and lemons will be the protagonists.

- An Unforgettable Sicilian Experience with Ita and Franco ❤️🇮🇹 We’ve arrived back in Canada after our vacation in Sicily, and without a doubt, our cooking experience with Ita and Franco was the absolute highlight of our trip! As luck would have it, our experience fell on Canadian Thanksgiving, which made it feel even more special to be welcomed into their home and share such a memorable experience with them. From the moment we arrived, Ita and Franco made us feel like old friends, with the help of translation. They generously shared their home, their history, their stories, and, of course, their incredible food. It was so much more than a cooking class — it was an opportunity to experience the heart and soul of Sicily through the people who live there. Ita and Franco, thank you for opening your home and sharing a little piece of your world with us. We will remember this experience long after our trip, and it will always hold a special place in our Sicilian adventure! ❤️
- Looking back to a wonderful evening at Ita and Fransesco, full of good Sicilian food. The experience was outstanding, we made our own pasta and cannelloni and learned a lot about the Sicilian kitchen. Afterwards we had diner together with our hosts and enjoyed all the good things we made ourselves and our great chef; Ita! With some help of google translate we had a fantastic evening. Highly recommend this unique experience!
- We had a brilliant time today and can highly recommend this wonderful experience. Ita is a truly passionate chef and explains how to prepare and cook very tasty food. Francesco was also a great host and together we had a lot of fun. I will definitely be making my own pasta at home, caponata and tiramisu. Thank you both.
- We are visiting Sicily from Ireland on our honeymoon. We've spent 10 incredible days on the island but without a doubt our evening with Ita and Francesco is the highlight. We were warmly welcomed into their home and straight down to the pasta making lesson. We have very little Italian but it all still worked. Francesco brought us around the garden also, showing us all the fresh ingredients that we would use - and the chickens (not included). The food was out of this world, fresh and deliciously presented. We managed to converse via Google translate, learning that Ita is an architect by trade and Francesco, a criminal defence attorney. A wonderful evening that we would have no hesitation recommending to any visitor to Sicilly. We are already planning our return to explore Castelverano and Selinunte
