I invite you to come to our organic farm nestled in a centuries-old Slow Food Presidium olive grove and admire the magnificent view of the Lucanian Dolomites and the Mantenera Forest. During this experience, you will be treated to an appetizer consisting of bruschetta topped with our two organic extra virgin olive oils, accompanied by samples of handcrafted typical tricaricesi cured meats and local cheeses (caciocavallo podolico, ricotta and mozzarella) served with handmade jams. We will continue with a first course of strictly handmade Cavatelli, seasoned with a delicious Cruschi bell pepper sauce, typical of the Lucanian tradition we will conclude with an irresistible tiramisu. All will be accompanied by an excellent Aglianico del Vulture wine. Vegetarian menu on request.
My family had a delicious meal and wonderful conversation with Elena and her husband, all while sitting on their patio gazing out over their olive grove and the distant hills. As an added bonus, we learned about olive oil and how to truly taste different oils to appreciate their specific characteristics. The entire experience was the highlight of our trip!
