Grandfather used to tell me the fable of the 3 sisters who lived in the garden and helped each other. Actually I later found out that it is a true story. The cultivation method is a consociation of 3 plants, corn bean and squash that together contribute something to the planting and at one time they used to cultivate together. I decided to marry these 3 sisters with 3 principles, 3 slow food presidia to create our fairy tale at the table. Corn with Formadi frant, pumpkin with Pestat di Fagagna and beans with Pitina. After a welcome bubbly with appetizers, at the table we will enjoy a polenta cuincjade with morcje and formadi frant, first course zùf macarons with Pestât and second course beans with Pitina. Matching wines and sweet surprise. I look forward to seeing you at my fabulous table.

I bring to the table dishes from three borders: Austria, Slovenia, and Italy. From my birth family, typical peasant dishes of Friulian tradition like frico, dishes with vegetables from the garden that follow the seasons, or artisan cured meats (my husband is a charcuterie enthusiast). Steaming polenta also accompanies game dishes such as wild boar or roe deer. From my husband's family, I learned more Nordic and Slavic traditions like sauerkraut, goulash, and potica. I also enjoy working with sourdough to prepare bread and focaccia.
