I will be waiting for you to cook and taste specialties in the historic city of Brixen ( Bressanone) in my house overlooking the Eisack River.

We will prepare a platter of local hors d'oeuvres such as cured meats, alpine cheeses and vegetable rustics. We will cook together "Cavatelli", a traditional hand-made pasta, kneaded with excellent local semolina flour dressed with a vegetable sauce or tagliatelle with fresh eggs of the day and a traditional ragout. To finish dessert: a fruit tart or tiramisu, all accompanied by a lagrein, or a fresh kerner.

Rita and her son welcomed us into their home and what an experience we had. The food we prepared with Rita was absolutely devine and learning about each others cultures made the experience even more personal. Lots of food, drinks and laughter makes this experience easy to recommend to others.

We had a wonderful afternoon making cavatelli and tomato/pepper sauce. We were shown all the pieces/foods that make an Italian meal…Italian! Rita and her son, Maximillian ( I hope that is the correct spelling!) were a delight to be with. It was a truly authentic experience and exactly what we had hoped for. We highly recommend!

"I express my love for cooking in various recipes handed down and revisited. My main dishes are: cavatelli, fusilli, lasagna, stuffed pasta; I enrich them with imagination, good taste and seasonality. I use zero kilometer products, I like to decorate dishes with flowers and herbs. I prepare second courses of meat and fish, combining them with excellent wines. To finish on a sweet note, I prepare tarts, tiramisu, fruit pies ".
