Inspired by chef Luca Pappagallo's presentation slogan, I would define myself as a greedy and curious cook who loves preparing typical, rich, and flavorful dishes from my region, Veneto, such as tastasal risotto, pasticcio, baccalá with polenta, and the classic menu of major celebrations like tortellini in broth followed by the famous lesso with pearà. All accompanied, as a true Venetian, by the magnificent local wines, both reds and whites, such as Valpolicella Classico and Superiore, Ripasso, Amarone, Custoza, Soave, Prosecco, just to name a few. I enjoy sharing the pleasures of good cooking and excellent local ingredients to pamper and entertain my guests. Being very curious and adventurous by nature, in addition to the typical recipes of my region, I try to cook recipes from other regions of Italy and even explore abroad, rediscovering tastes and flavors unknown here but belonging to my culinary experience, having lived abroad for several years. I find it fantastic to be able to open my home and share, through food and the table, a part of the culture and history of our beautiful Italy with people from all over the world, allowing them to taste and appreciate our delicacies.
