- Our cooking class with Cristiana was hands down the highlight of our trip! We loved learning to make tagliatelle and ricotta gnocchi. Her property is beautiful, and we really enjoyed touring it. What made the experience so special was how Cristiana personalized the menu around our visit to our Castagna family’s ancestral hometowns nearby, connecting the dishes to how earlier generations might have cooked. Such a thoughtful touch! Cristiana was so warm and genuine. She even gave my daughter, who is studying in Florence, her personal contact information and told her to reach out if she ever needed anything. We loved the experience so much that we ordered her cookbook afterward! Everything about the day felt authentic and personal. Exactly what we had hoped for and a memory we’ll treasure!
- Beautiful experience! I went with my wife, my sister, and her boyfriend to take the canederli cooking class. It was fun, the place is beautiful, and Cristiana is very friendly, great at leading the lesson, and pleasant to chat with. We ate very well; she offered us appetizers, wine, and strudel... a very relaxing and fun afternoon! Absolutely recommended!
- Cristiana’s cooking class was wonderful from the very beginning when she welcomed my mom and I into her lovely home with open arms. We had an amazing tour of her beautiful home and learned about its history. At the outset, she also prepared some tasty snacks and local wine, which we were able to try before cooking. During the class itself, Cristiana was clear, patient, and funny — generally wonderful to be around — and we loved both pastas we learned to make. She was also incredibly helpful in provide local restaurant recommendations (we tried every one, and they were all amazing). I would very highly recommend you take a class with her to not only learn how to make amazing food, but also meet an kind and funny individual who loves to share her passion for food and meeting others. - There are no words to describe how wonderful our experience was with Cristiana. Her passion for both cooking and hospitality are evident in every aspect of the experience. Her home is wonderful, the food was fresh and the lesson was well presented. I love to cook so the opportunity to cook with a chef who learned from her grandmother will be my best experience in Italy. I wanted to learn something new so it wonderful to make a dish that I can now make at home. Amerone Rissotto along with appetizers and dessert made with ingredients from the garden were a special treat. Cristiana thank you for making our day special and wonderful 💖
- Highly recommended! Christina welcomed us very warmly right away, and we immediately felt at home in her cozy house! There was delicious wine, and the homemade gnocchi were easy to make and tasted outstanding. We had great conversations while cooking and eating, and we even received some valuable tips for the rest of our trip! An absolute recommendation for everyone who wants to spend an authentic Italian evening!
