Our experience will take you on a discovery of a part of Verona little known to non-Veronians, but rich in history and tradition. We will explore an ancient and authentic neighborhood, visiting at least three historic taverns. The tour will begin with a typical Veronese breakfast, continue with an aperitif of cicchetti and white wine, and conclude with a lunch celebrating a typical local dish. A fascinating food and wine tour to discover the city's most authentic flavors and stories.

- A real highlight of our trip to Verona! The pizza-making class with Cristiana was outstanding. The pizza tasted fantastic, and we took many valuable ideas and tips home with us. The course takes place at Cristiana's home, in a perfectly equipped kitchen with a real wood-fired pizza oven. The atmosphere was simply beautiful, warm, and personal. The classes are available at any time of day. We went in the morning, but an evening class is also possible. In addition to pizza, Cristiana also offers wonderful cooking classes for pasta and gnocchi. Getting there is also very straightforward: with bus line 31, it takes just 30 minutes from Verona, and the line runs every half hour. An absolute recommendation for everyone who loves Italian food and wants to experience something special in Verona!
- Our cooking class with Cristiana was hands down the highlight of our trip! We loved learning to make tagliatelle and ricotta gnocchi. Her property is beautiful, and we really enjoyed touring it. What made the experience so special was how Cristiana personalized the menu around our visit to our Castagna family’s ancestral hometowns nearby, connecting the dishes to how earlier generations might have cooked. Such a thoughtful touch! Cristiana was so warm and genuine. She even gave my daughter, who is studying in Florence, her personal contact information and told her to reach out if she ever needed anything. We loved the experience so much that we ordered her cookbook afterward! Everything about the day felt authentic and personal. Exactly what we had hoped for and a memory we’ll treasure!
- Beautiful experience! I went with my wife, my sister, and her boyfriend to take the canederli cooking class. It was fun, the place is beautiful, and Cristiana is very friendly, great at leading the lesson, and pleasant to chat with. We ate very well; she offered us appetizers, wine, and strudel... a very relaxing and fun afternoon! Absolutely recommended!
- Cristiana’s cooking class was wonderful from the very beginning when she welcomed my mom and I into her lovely home with open arms. We had an amazing tour of her beautiful home and learned about its history. At the outset, she also prepared some tasty snacks and local wine, which we were able to try before cooking. During the class itself, Cristiana was clear, patient, and funny — generally wonderful to be around — and we loved both pastas we learned to make. She was also incredibly helpful in provide local restaurant recommendations (we tried every one, and they were all amazing). I would very highly recommend you take a class with her to not only learn how to make amazing food, but also meet an kind and funny individual who loves to share her passion for food and meeting others. - There are no words to describe how wonderful our experience was with Cristiana. Her passion for both cooking and hospitality are evident in every aspect of the experience. Her home is wonderful, the food was fresh and the lesson was well presented. I love to cook so the opportunity to cook with a chef who learned from her grandmother will be my best experience in Italy. I wanted to learn something new so it wonderful to make a dish that I can now make at home. Amerone Rissotto along with appetizers and dessert made with ingredients from the garden were a special treat. Cristiana thank you for making our day special and wonderful 💖
