Learning about the cuisine starting with its peasant ingredients, guests will taste a selection of cicchetti prepared with Lessinia cold cuts and cheeses,
The aperitif will be served in the garden. We will cook a herb risotto from the garden with vialone nano rice . We will taste the main course and dessert together telling anecdotes and stories related to the proposed dishes. If time permits guests will have the opportunity to see our small olive grove

- John and I had a marvelous morning with Cristiana in her charming home! We were first able to meet her cute chickens who so kindly shared their eggs for making our tagliatelle and tortellini. Both served with a wonderful local red wine. The lesson was quite easy to follow (except for our ineptitude at making the tortellini!) . The results of our efforts were delicious!! All the while totally enjoying our free flowing conversation with Cristiana, who speaks very good English. We highly recommend her class and would take it again if we ever make it back to this beautiful Verona!
- If I could give this class 10 stars I would! Cristiana was an INCREDIBLE chef and host. We were honored to be hosted in her home and she shared so much with us about the local area, cooking, and also would help me with my Italian. I was actually sad when we had to leave as it felt like we were with family. Cristiana taught us tiramisu, pizza and we even had time to make focaccia. The recipes were simple, delicious and Cristiana was very prepared. We learned that she had previously had a restaurant and her experience shows. Thank you Cristiana for one of our most memorable experiences and please hug cat for us ♥️
- Cristiana was fantastic. We found the place easily, she was awaiting us already. We had a wonderful, relaxing time cooking, chatting, having some wine. When coming home from our trip we tried to make the pasta ourselves and it was a succes. Thanks Christiana for such a wonderful workshop!
- Cristiana is a beautiful person that made me feel so welcome in her home. Her humour and kindness made the whole experience wonderful. She had prepared cheese with fig and a few extras to try with the cheese when I arrived, then explained (as she made) tortellini with a simple tomato sauce followed by polenta with octopus and the finish it off an amazing tiramisu! I was very spoilt by the hospitality and the food. Thank you!
- We changed from the original booking we made using a gift voucher and Cesarine made this very easy for us. We were the only couple on this experience and this was the first one of this particular experience Cri e Stefano did for the Amarone Wine and wine tasting. We had a really enjoyable time in a lovely setting. We had a tour of the vineyard and barrels together with explanation of the different wines. They supplied some fabulous homemade aperetifs together with a couple of glasses of their wine. We then were shown how to make the Amarone Risotto and then had some to eat together with another try of a couple of their wines. It was all very tasty. We then had a biscuit type cake which Grappa was poured on to, once again delicious. The entire experience was 2 1/2 hours, not 3 hours, which was enough time as we were the only couple on it. They kindly ordered us a taxi back to Verona afterwards. The surroundings were lovely and they also ran a kennels and cattery which we ate near, under a beautiful pergola area. We both love dogs so this was not an issue for us. You could see their passion for their wines and they obviously produce exceptionally good wine there. This was the first time we have had this type of experience so have nothing to compare it to. We were made to feel very welcome by them all. We did feel however, that the experience was quite pricey for what is was and maybe this would deter people from going. We were lucky in receiving a voucher.
