Hi, I’m Mario. I teach at a middle school near Bergamo, but I am originally from Sicily, which I left nine years ago. I cook traditional Sicilian dishes to keep alive the connection with my homeland and the memories of my childhood, filled with the aromas of my grandmother’s Sunday recipes.When I prepare a new dish, I don’t look for recipes online: I prefer calling my aunts and learning the family secrets directly from them. I love bringing authentic Sicilian flavors to the table, combining precision and creativity, also inspired by my engineering studies.I prepare specialties such as arancini, fresh pasta, eggplant rolls, Messina-style focaccia, parmigiana, anelletti alla palermitana, and handmade Sicilian cannoli, as well as traditional desserts like granita and brioche
