Alessandro
My name is Alessandro. I was born in Milan in 1961 to parents from Emilia. I look forward to welcoming you in the kitchen of my home on the outskirts of Bergamo, where we will prepare and enjoy local specialties together (Scarpinocc, typical Bergamasco ravioli, or Polenta Taragna) as well as dishes from my family tradition (Tagliatelle, Rosette Modenesi, Tigelle). Everything will be preceded by a variety of possible appetizers, including Reggio Emilia’s Erbazzone, and followed by a dessert, typically Tiramisu. A wide selection of wines and digestifs will also be available. An authentic, convivial, and relaxing experience, with many simple recipes you can easily recreate at home!

- What a lovely way to spend the last day of this holiday. Alessandro was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the delicious food we made. I also met his elder son who is a lovely young gentleman. I am learning Italian and this experience was wonderful as Alessandro kindly allowed me to practice speaking Italian with him. I highly recommend this experience.
- I had a great evening with Alessandro and his family. It was very interesting to see the food prepared and then eat it along with a delicious wine. I learned a lot about the food of the region and life in Italy. It was also great fun discussing our shared interests. I would do this again without hesitation.
- We had a fantastic cooking class with Alessandro - who hosted our group of 8 in his lovely apartment. From great local starters to making our own pasta and enjoying an amazing Tiramisu (which is, if you learn the little tricks, remarkably easy!), the whole class was an amazing experience. Alessandro took great care of us and made sure we learn not only about cooking, but also about regional specialities and the Italian culture :) Thanks again for this fantastic time and we will surely cook your recipes again! - Had a great evening at Alessandro’s house making 2 types of pasta and a tiramisu. From the beginning I felt at ease. Alessandro is a great host and very welcoming! Also had the honour to meet his 2 sons and talk about daily italian topics and things which I was curious about. I highly recommend this experience since learning to make typical italian dishes and eat together in someones home really gives an extra dimension to experiencing italian culture. Grazie Alessandro!
- Had a wonderful evening with Alessandro and his family! I got to taste and eat delicious Italian specialties (loved the crescentine) and learned how to make tagliatelle. Alessandro is passionate about Italian cooking, it was a true pleasure to discuss and learn. Alessandro and his family made me feel at home. It was an amazing experience that I warmly recommend!
