Antonella was an excellent host and teacher. Our group consisted of adults and teens and everyone enjoyed the class. Being in her home was such a special experience, full of history and art.

A true Florentine experience with breathtaking views: We had an unforgettable lunch with Cesarina Antonella just a stone’s throw from Florence, yet surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the Tuscan hills. The location is stunning – we dined outdoors at a table under a pergola of grapevines, with a panoramic view of the countryside. Every detail was beautifully curated. The meal was incredible: paccheri with garden-fresh tomato sauce, a sensational eggplant parmigiana, the traditional Tuscan peposo with potatoes from Antonella’s garden and olive oil from her own mill, followed by a delicious dessert of peaches with amaretto and homemade custard gelato. This experience is perfect for anyone looking to connect with a local and enjoy authentic Tuscan flavors in a magical setting – truly living like a Florentine for a day. Highly recommended!

My time with Antonella was one of, if not the, best experiences of my time back in Florence. We formed a connection so quickly that made the entire time together filled with joy. She was an amazing teacher; patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic. Since it was just the two of us we also helped each other get even better at speaking the other's language: her speaking English and me speaking Italian! We both learned from each other and felt comfortable asking questions. Sitting outside on her patio enclosed with vines and flowers with the Tuscan hills in the background was a dream. Pair that with the delicious bruschetta, ravioli, tagliatelle, tiramisu, and wine- I don't think any restaurant could beat it! I will absolutely book another class with her if I ever make it back to Florence. I can't recommend her enough!! Grazie mille, Antonella :)

My daughter and I loved making homemade pasta with Antonella. We made tagliatelle with ragu using her fresh herbs from her garden. Since I had made pasta previously, Antonella decided that we would also make ravioli with burrata, lemon zest, parmigiano and thyme. We then proceeded to make tiramisu. She totally changed my opinion about tiramisu - it was delicious!! We enjoyed the meal with fresh oil olive and wine. Antonella and her husband, Cosimo, were delightful. If going to Florence, you should definitely make the visit to their beautiful home and experience cooking with her.
