Hallo von Annarita!

Mein Name ist Annarita und ich bin eine Cesarina aus Bari, einer Stadt, in der das Kochen ein echtes tägliches Ritual ist, geprägt von Einfachheit, den Düften des Zuhauses und Aromen, die unsere Identität widerspiegeln. Ich liebe es, traditionelle Gerichte aus Bari und Apulien zuzubereiten: Rezepte, die von Familie, Teilen und Jahreszeiten erzählen. Ich verwende einfache, lokale und sorgfältig ausgewählte Zutaten, denn für mich ist Kochen in erster Linie Liebe zu meiner Heimat. Menschen an meinem Tisch willkommen zu heißen und ihnen das Gefühl zu geben, zu Hause zu sein, ist eines der Dinge, die mich am glücklichsten machen. Mit meiner Küche möchte ich ein authentisches Erlebnis bieten, das aus echten Aromen und Traditionen besteht, die von Generation zu Generation weitergegeben werden.

The Market tour and Cooking Class with Annarita was a very special experience. She took us around the local market explaining the various things she looked for in the fresh products and ways she used them. We had a bonus of going to her mother’s house to cook (a former chef and “nonna”). the family makes their own olive oil, limoncello, etc. which we were treated to. We were taught how to highlight the ingredients and felt like we became part of their delightful family. She was also thoughtful enough to provide a lovely young translator to fill in any gaps so we fully understood everything. It is one of the wonderful experiences of visiting this beautiful part of Italy and shouldn’t be missed!

The orecchiette and tiramisu class was a wonderful experience! Three generations worked together to teach us, using ingredients from their gardens and their skills that were passed down thru generations. So enjoyed the hands on learning and the opportunity to be in their home to eat the delicious meal we prepared. Thank you, I'll be making these recipes again many times!

Annarita, her 84 yr-old mother, and college-aged daughter (who served as translator) have created a cooking experience that not only far exceeded my wife’s and my expectations, but also warmed our hearts from the passion, enthusiasm, and dedication the three women all put into this rare opportunity. We left feeling like we just spent 3 hrs with extended family members that were so very happy to cook such an amazing Italian dinner for the seven of us that had booked this experience! We will never forget the time spent with them and enthusiastically recommend this experience to any and all!

Annarita e sua figlia ci hanno fatto da guida nella città' vecchia di Bari, e i suoi dintorni. Dopo di che, assieme a tutta la famiglia, abbiamo pranzato con delizie tipiche pugliesi (versione vegana). Molti piatti deliziosi e sazianti. Una famiglia davvero bella e generosa. Fortunati di averle avute come Cesarine!
