Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

Let’s begin our culinary journey with the irresistible pizzonte, traditional fried pizzas stuffed with peppers, eggs, selected cured meats, and local cheeses, served with my homemade bread. For the first course, you’ll be surprised by pasta alla chitarra, prepared with the traditional "Lu carrature" tool, topped with homemade tomato sauce and enriched with carefully selected meats. All of this will be perfectly paired with Montepulciano DOC wine, in both the Cerasuolo and Rosso varieties, to enhance each dish. We’ll finish with my secret tiramisu. For a truly unique experience, you’ll enjoy everything outdoors, immersed in a romantic atmosphere in our garden.

An unforgettable home-cooked meal filled with genuine hospitality and exceptional local flavours. We were welcomed warmly by Stefania and her husband Marcello and treated to a delicious feast beginning with fresh antipasti made from beautiful local produce. This was followed by incredible homemade pasta, perfectly prepared and full of authentic flavor. The open-flame barbecue lamb skewers were outstanding, and to finish, the most delicious cannelloni. Every course was perfectly paired with beautiful local wines from the Abruzzo region. Stefania’s talent as a chef is truly remarkable; her passion, generosity, and skill were evident in every dish. A memorable experience we will never forget. It was the highlight of our travels throughout Italy so far.

Stefania was FANTASTIC!! There were 6 of us in her class (three generations of our family). She welcomed us into her home and we had dinner with her family, including her husband and her two sons. Stefania is an extraordinary teacher! She showed us concretely what she wanted us to do and helped us replicate it. Her ability to guide us step by step was absolutely perfect. She wasn’t at all secretive with her recipes; on the contrary, she has a true passion for sharing her knowledge and experience with others. It was an unforgettable experience! We learned some really valuable tricks of the trade. We stayed in contact throughout our entire trip in Italy and she even helped us find a place to buy a "chitarra" of our own. I have no doubt that we will be friends for life! Thank you so much, Stefania!! ❤️😊

The experience at Stefania's was amazing! We had a lot of fun while cooking and talking and enjoyed the awesome hospitality of Stefania and her husband. The food was absolutely great and the organisation perfect. We loved to be in their elegant house, in their spacious kitchen, which combines modernity and tradition and we learned so many interesting facts about their history, culture, traditions. We highly admire both of them and we are honored to have been for a while with them. 5 stars from all points of view. A big hug from us all. 😀

Excellent experience. Unique and from the heart. We had great fun and learned a lot of new things. Stefania and her husband shared with us heartily a part of Italy. Their elegant house, wonderful story and great hospitality are top class. We arrived as tourists and departed as friends. A big hug from all 6 of us!

My cuisine reflects regional traditions and features original recipes passed down from my skilled mother. From homemade pasta to pizzas, focaccias, bread, and various desserts, my repertoire is diverse. I've taken bread-making courses with a keen focus on different flours and their strength. I consider myself proficient in first courses, and I enjoy creating convivial moments enriched by an excellent selection of wines from my cellar!
