During the food tour we will discover the real strolling foods loved by us Bari residents: the warm and fragrant focaccia, freshly fried panzerotti, and artisanal ice cream. Between stops I will tell you curiosities, stories and ingredients to recreate these authentic flavors even at home, surprising friends and family. A journey between taste and tradition, to take you away not only recipes, but also the scents, colors and soul of my Bari.

: It was great experience to learn how to make cavatelli (traditional pasta barese) and tagliatelle and tiramisu with a very kind and very professional host, Monica. At the end we ate our own made dishes together as old friends! :-) Everyone should try this!
: Learning to make focaccia Barese with Monica was a wonderful experience. We have taken part in many cooking classes in Italy and look for small group hands-on involvement rather than simply watching someone prepare food. It was clear upon Monica’s warm welcome into her home that this private session would be perfect for us. It was like learning from and sitting down to dinner with friends. As our heritage is Barese, it is especially important to us to preserve traditional recipes, and we fully intend to put this learning to use at home.
: It was an experience as I had hoped it would be. Monica is a wonderful host. Nice and friendly and very helpful. She made us a wonderful dinner and we were pleased to come in her house and meet her family and friends. Nice to see how she made the pasta and tells with love about food and cooking. And also the dessert was delicious. A good choice to do!
: Just the best cooking class with Monica in her home. We learned to make: tremisu, cavateli pasta, and a wonderful tomato sauce. It was delicious. Highly recommend it.
