Together we’ll prepare Sardinian fregula, a traditional soup from southern Sardinia that can be cooked either in broth or risotto-style. We’ll make a clam broth in which to cook it. The shepherd’s breakfast consists of a platter of traditional cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by honey and seasonal fruit. For dessert, we’ll make a deconstructed mille-feuille with myrtle cream.

My name is Donatella, and cooking has always been my greatest passion. Since I was a child, I have always had my hands in dough—my grandmother taught me how to make fresh pasta and traditional local dishes. At 18, I started university, but every summer I worked in restaurants as a waitress. I was always drawn to the kitchen, eager to watch, learn, and ask questions. Over the years, my work experiences helped me develop culinary skills that deepened my curiosity and love for cooking. Besides traditional recipes, I enjoy experimenting with new flavors and expressing my creativity, especially through vegetarian and vegan dishes. What I love most is welcoming people who share my passion and spending authentic moments together, surrounded by good food and conviviality.
