Experience a unique cooking journey in my home in Monticanaglia, just a few kilometers from the enchanting beaches of the Costa Smeralda and the glamour of Porto Cervo. Here, surrounded by the scents of Sardinia, I will guide you step by step in preparing dishes that tell our tradition and our passion for good food, so you can easily recreate them in your own kitchen!

The course begins with two typical pasta starters: gnocchetti sardi, soft and flavorful, and a classic Italian first course, tagliatelle. My husband and I took Tomaso’s cooking class on our honeymoon, and it was honestly one of our favourite experiences in Sardinia. Tomaso was born and raised in Sardinia, and you can tell how much he loves sharing his culture and traditions. He was so welcoming, energetic, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We learned how to make traditional Sardinian gnocchetti with a fresh tomato sauce, handmade orecchiette with butter and sage, and the easiest (and one of the best!) tiramisus I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be making that recipe for my family and friends back home. He had everything prepared for us, started the evening with a delicious aperitivo, and the view from his house was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to have the class to ourselves, which made it feel extra special, but I’m sure it would be just as much fun with a group. If you’re visiting Sardinia, I can’t recommend Tomaso’s class enough. We left with amazing recipes, new cooking skills, and such great memories. Thank you, Tomaso!

My wife and I booked a cooking class with Tomaso during our Honeymoon through Italy, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us into his home with such warmth and generosity — it never felt like a “class,” it felt like being hosted by a friend. His house is absolutely gorgeous, and cooking in that setting made the whole experience feel even more special and authentic. Tomaso shared not just his cooking knowledge but real stories and conversation throughout, and he went out of his way to make sure we felt completely at home. He fed us incredibly well, and every dish felt like it came from generations of tradition. Tomaso is just getting started (he’s been doing this for a few months), but don’t let that fool you — his hospitality, skill, and genuine passion for what he does are already at the level of someone who’s been doing this for years. If you want a real, unique, and personal experience rather than a touristy cooking demo, book with Tomaso. We left feeling like we’d made a friend, not just learned a recipe. Grazie mille, Tomaso — we hope to be back!

I am a hospitality professional with over forty years of experience and a deep passion for cooking. I live in a small village in Gallura, just a few kilometers from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo, a land that deeply inspires my way of cooking. I enjoy sharing traditional Gallurese recipes and more, prepared with genuine ingredients and a respect for simplicity: handmade fresh pasta, Gallurese soup, traditional desserts, and other specialties. Each dish is enhanced by organic, locally sourced products and paired with local wines that truly express the character of the region. Over the years, I have explored different cuisines, developing a personal style that blends tradition and creativity. I firmly believe that cooking is a universal language that brings people together and creates lasting memories. During my cooking classes, I aim to share techniques, knowledge, and little secrets of the trade, creating a friendly, stimulating, and fun environment, where cooking together becomes an experience to get to know the local area up close.
