Who said a hamburger can’t be a gourmet dish?
From my love for authenticity and genuine flavors comes the idea of a zero-kilometer Hamburger Night.
You’ll be welcomed with a poolside aperitif, featuring crispy snacks in various flavors and a delicious onion flan made with Certaldo onions.
Then, imagine a freshly baked homemade bun, filled with selected Chianina beef, served with locally roasted potatoes, homemade ketchup, and caramelized Certaldo onions — a true local gem and a Slow Food Presidia product.
All accompanied by a good glass of wine, to be enjoyed while admiring the stunning Tuscan hills, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
To end on a sweet note: a Tuscan-style tiramisu, made with our beloved Vinsanto.

- We had a truly wonderful evening with Lara and her family. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed into their home, which created such a genuine and authentic Italian atmosphere. It felt less like a cooking class and more like spending time with friends and family. Lara guided us patiently through every step of the process of making pici and ravioli from scratch. What we especially appreciated was that we were involved in each stage of the preparation, which made the experience both educational and very enjoyable. It was fascinating to learn traditional techniques and small details that make homemade pasta so special. Lara’s husband, Daniele, also added a wonderful touch to the evening by sharing interesting stories about local wines and recommending beautiful places to visit in the area. His insights made the experience even richer and more personal. The food we prepared together tasted absolutely delicious. After learning how much care and passion goes into making fresh pasta, we can truly say that nothing compares to homemade dishes prepared in such a warm environment. - What a highlight of our three week honeymoon in Italy! Lara, Daniel, Sofia (and Black) were the most incredible hosts. They welcomed us to their beautiful home which feels like visiting a living painting in the Tuscan hills. We listened to good music, learned to make classic regional pasta dishes, shared in great conversation and finished with the most delish lunch. I can not recommend this experience highly enough.
