10/10 experience!! My husband and I were immediately graced with a warm welcome from Patrizia and her husband, Luca. It was clear they were eager to host us in their beautiful family home and share their abundant knowledge. With the most beautiful view we have seen in Italy, Patrizia walked us through, step by step, making pasta and the most decadent tiramisu we have ever had. My wife and I did a cooking class in English with Emanuela. We had an excellent experience. We learned to make tiramisu, ravioli stuffed with ricotta in a tomato based sauce, and fried ravioli. Emanuela was extremely friendly and informative, and her home and view of Mt Vesuvius from her balcony were beautiful! We highly recommend a cooking class with Emanuela, and will do another class with her when we are back in Napoli.

We had the ultimate pleasure of meeting Gabriella and Faust for our private cooking class. From the moment we arrived - we knew that we were in good hands. G and F took us to a local market where we shopped for some of the foods that we needed. Upon returning to their beautiful home, which looked out to Lake Maggiore we began to create our meal. G had snacks and drinks sat out for us. We made Veal Tonnato, Tagliatelle, and Tiramisu. G shared each recipe with me so I could make it when we returned home. G is an excellent cook and teacher. She took her time explaining the various steps of each recipe and she encouraged both my husband and myself to participate with the preparation. Faust was wonderful too helping out and especially cleaning up the mess that we made. JB enjoyed speaking with him as they shared wine and life stories. Once the meal was prepared we sat down together and enjoyed each dish. Honestly the food was sensational…perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious! It was hard to believe that we spent 4 hours together - the time flew by and at the end we discovered that we made new friends with the two sweetest people. Frequently asked questions
How does the Cesarine Gift Card work?
Choose the amount for the Gift Card by selecting one of the preset options or entering the amount you prefer. You can personalize the Gift Card by selecting a theme and adding a message for the gift recipient.
Then, proceed with the purchase: once the payment is completed, you’ll receive an email with the Gift Card attached. If you wish, you can also email the Gift Card directly to the recipient from the purchase confirmation page.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts?
From €50 to €500. Pick one of the preset amounts — €50, €100 or €200 — or type any figure you like within those limits.
When does the Gift Card arrive? Can I schedule the delivery?
The Gift Card arrives by email within minutes of payment, attached as a PDF. There is no scheduled delivery: it comes to you and you forward it whenever you like, Christmas morning included. From the order confirmation page you can also have it sent straight to the recipient's email address.
Do I need an account to buy or use the Gift Card?
To complete the purchase, yes: the checkout asks you to sign in or register. To use it, no: the recipient can book their experience as a guest, entering the code at payment.
How to book after purchasing the Gift Card?
You can use the Gift Card to purchase any experience on cesarine.com with a value equal to or greater than that of the card. After selecting the experience, simply enter the Gift Card code in the “Promo Code” field in the cart and click “Apply”: the Gift Card value will be deducted from the total amount. For any questions, visit help.cesarine.com.
Do I have to spend the whole amount at once?
Yes: the Gift Card is used on a single booking and in full — it leaves no balance to spend later. So pick an experience that costs at least as much as the Gift Card; if it costs more, you only pay the difference.
Can I use two Gift Cards on the same booking?
No: one Gift Card per booking.
How long is the Gift Card valid?
The Gift Card will be active for one year from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the Gift Card PDF, along with the amount.
What language does the Gift Card come in?
You choose it when you buy — Italian, English, Spanish, French or German. The card and the instructions for using it arrive in the language you picked.
Can I print the Gift Card?
Yes — it is a PDF. Print it and hand it over, or forward the email as it is.
Are Gift Cards refundable?
No, Gift Cards are non-refundable.
If I cancel the booking, do I lose the Gift Card?
No. If a booking paid with the Gift Card is cancelled, the Gift Card becomes active again and can be used for another experience.
In which cities are the Cesarine and Cesarini present?
The Cesarine Community is present in over 400 cities: from major tourist destinations to the most charming small villages.
Are the experiences private or are there other guests?
Our experiences can be either private or shared. You can find this information in the description of each experience.
