From there, you'll head to Piazzetta Magnani, where the "Mercato Lumiere," a farmers' market where local producers sell seasonal zero-mile produce at fair prices, is set up. Next, you will begin a food tour of the charming Pratello area, a bohemian neighborhood renowned for its authentic restaurants and quaint streets. The journey culminates at the home of our local Maurizio, where you'll indulge in a generous aperitivo with a selection of exquisite Bolognese products. We highly recommend Maurizio's cooking class! He’s not only a fantastic teacher who makes learning pasta fun and easy, but he also has so much charm and character that he truly made our day special. We learned to make three different types of pasta and enjoyed them together. Maurizio shared interesting stories about Bologna and gave us great local restaurant tips. The whole experience was warm, relaxed, and full of joy. We left with wonderful memories and gratitude for such a lovely day. Thank you, Maurizio!

Maurizio was a wonderful teacher! We made three types of pasta and had the pleasure of eating each one. We sang, we danced, we made and ate pasta and had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend the Cesarine, Maurizio.

It wasn't an easy task to take two vegetarians on a food tour of Bologna but the evening turned out to be informative, entertaining and good fun.

My day with Maurizio was great fun. Mauricio was a great teacher. Very patient and full of tips and cooking knowledge. He and his partner Marco made me very welcome. The tortellini in brodo we made was amazing. The tiramasu was the best I have tasted. Thank you Maurizio Also thanks for the Pizza restaurant recommendation.
