My son Sean and I were completely thrilled with the cooking course at Paola Terzi's home. On the agenda were tagliatelle, tortelloni, and tiramisu – all freshly homemade.
Paola designed the course in an extremely professional manner and with great attention to detail. You can tell at every moment how much passion Paola puts into her courses. The shared meal at the end was simply excellent, and the personal, very interesting exchange with Paola rounded off the experience.
Paola is an excellent cook and an equally warm hostess. We can recommend the course without reservation and will certainly be happy to return. Thank you very much for this wonderful afternoon!

Paola was a great teacher and she had always a very good energy!
First, we started with the crescentine/piadina dough and after that, the pasta dough. After that, we made tiramisú and then we finished piadina and the tagliatelle!
The salume, cheese and wine she gave us with piadinas were delightful.
She told us many tips and was very patient. We 100% recommend this experience!

We had a lovely 3 course meal at Paola's house. The weather was very hot, and it was lovely to find some shade in Paola's garden. Paola was very kind and helpful, and served us some lovely food and wine. Afterwards, Paola followed up with an email including the recipes for all the meals that she cooked. We were very happy with our experience, and would highly recommend it to others interested in doing something a little different.

Taking this culinary class in Italy was one of the highlights of my trip. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Italian. Paola was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about Italian cuisine, specifically Bolagnese style, making the experience both fun and educational.
We learned how to prepare traditional dishes from scratch using fresh local ingredients, and every step was explained in a way that felt approachable even for beginners. Beyond the cooking itself, I loved hearing the stories and traditions behind the recipes — it made the experience feel personal and cultural, not just instructional.
The food we made was absolutely delicious, and sharing the meal together afterward was such a memorable experience. I left with new cooking skills, amazing memories, and an even greater appreciation for Italian food and culture.
I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Italy — whether you’re a serious foodie or just looking for a unique and unforgettable experience! we loved and we love Bologna!

We took Paola's class to learn how to make pasta and ragu and we were so pleased with the entire experience. Paola welcomes you into her lovely home and she guides you through making a simple yet delicious ragu. While your ragu simmers on the stove, you make two different types of pasta - one with egg and one with only semolina. She teaches you how (and when) to handle the dough - rolling it out to the perfect thickness and cutting it into strips to make the specific shapes desired. When it's all over, you've made a wonderful pasta dinner that could be served with pride!!! Highly recommend her class.
