    The experience we want you to live is a journey through the culinary delights of two great regions: Tuscany and Lazio.

    Between carbonara and potato-filled tortelli, between chicken with peppers and crostoni with black cabbage, you'll be immersed in the convivial spirit typical of those areas—even though you'll be right in the center of Bologna, in a home full of personality, located in a historic building dating back to the second half of the 19th century.

    We believe that to make a dinner (or lunch) truly unforgettable, good food isn’t enough—you also need good company. That’s why we’ll be there with you, sharing stories and ingredients behind these traditional dishes.

    We know how this kind of experience can melt away stress, which is why we say: “...eat, and everything will be fine!”

    We had such a fun evening cooking with Maurizio! He and Marco were lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful home. And we learned so much about making pasta by hand! I highly recommend this cooking experience with Maurizio.

    It was a fantastic experience! We asked to organize a small cooking challenge between coworkers. Maurizio welcomed us into his delightful home, immediately made us feel comfortable, the atmosphere was fun and familiar… and after a generous aperitivo (all homemade) accompanied by excellent sparkling wine, we “got our hands dirty.” Maurizio guided us through this experience, telling us about the origins and giving us tips for rolling out the pasta perfectly… and once finished, we cooked and savored our creations, continuing to toast. The winner was declared (awarded with a very original gadget) and we also tasted a cake whose secret recipe is part of Maurizio’s family heritage – we can only say that it was truly amazing. The day was truly enjoyable. It was exactly what we needed: hospitality, sharing, and fun. An experience to recommend and repeat!

    Maurizio and Marco were absolutely delightful guides and hosts — they were warm, kind, and most importantly, made sure to complete my Bologna experience with the best food in town. Maurizio's tagliatelle is exquisite — but what I'll remember are a lovely pair of tour guides who made my solo trip through Italy just a little more memorable. Highly recommended for other LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a sense of community as they make their way through Bologna.

    Perfect host! This was our favorite cooking experience we have ever done. A lot of it is because of Maurizio. He was very knowledgable, charismatic and welcoming. He made us feel at home from the moment we walked into his home. The day really flew by. The food was sensational. We highly recommend this experience but make sure you request Maurizio! OH, he also asked about our trip and made recommendations on places to see and where we can go based on what we had planned. We took his suggestions and were really happy we did.
