Shared Experience
Your experience

Welcome to my home in Bologna! I’ll be delighted to welcome you with warmth and hospitality to my bright fifth-floor flat, overlooking greenery and boasting a splendid panoramic view of the park. Together we’ll prepare some of the most beloved traditional Emilian recipes from scratch: handmade tortelloni, fresh tagliatelle rolled out with a rolling pin, and classic Italian tiramisu. I’ll welcome you with a little aperitif and, after the cooking class, we’ll enjoy what we’ve created together, accompanied by a good bottle of local wine and an authentic Italian coffee. A genuine, relaxed experience, rich in flavours.

Olga was such a pleasure to learn from! She is incredibly knowledgeable about various pasta making and other traditional cooking techniques! She was also super supportive and encouraging with all stages of the pasta making process! And her Ragu was to die for! Would recommend her class to everyone I know!

We had a wonderful time making focaccia with Olga. My grandson (age16) helped a lot with the preparation. Her patience and great instructions helped him master the task in the end. Olga was charming, educational and flexible. She was clearly an expert in so many areas of Italian cooking. Her communication with us before the event were very helpful including directions to her place and parking information. Thank you, Olga, for a wonderful morning.

Couldn’t recommend Olga enough! We chose to do the Gnocchi and Tiramisu class and were not disappointed. Olga’s instructions were clear and easy to follow, the food was delicious and the overall experience was a highlight of our trip! This class is a must if you’re visiting Bologna and want to learn to make traditional Bolognese cuisine. Thanks again Olga!

The class was amazing, really nothing I'd change for both the skills I've learned and the experience in general. Olga was a perfect host and made the whole thing really enjoyable

Olga was delightful and is an amazing cook and baker. She spent extra time with me and we enjoyed chatting about our pets. She showed me a lot of techniques for managing the pasta dough. The stuffed pappardelle with tomato sauce was the best I've ever eaten and the Bolognese ravioli was delicious. If I am back in Bologna, I will certainly take another class with Olga.

My cooking always starts with handmade pasta — that slow, precise gesture of rolling out the dough, choosing the right shape, feeling the mixture come to life between your fingers. Traditional Italian first courses are my greatest love: I prepare them with care, pairing them with rich, fragrant sauces built on simple ingredients and plenty of time. And it never ends without something sweet: from the great classics to my lighter variations, because a meal without a little sweetness at the end isn't really complete.
