Your experience

We will take a walk together through the charming shops of the Quadrilatero, the heart of Bologna’s historic center. This fascinating area, with its narrow alleys and timeless atmosphere, hosts a medieval market where the authentic Bolognese tradition can still be felt. Here, among stalls of typical products, artisanal shops, and historic commercial establishments, we will discover the flavors and aromas that have made the local cuisine famous. During our walk, we will stop for a delicious aperitif featuring crescenta, a soft and fragrant Bolognese flatbread, enriched with the famous mortadella, an undisputed symbol of the city. All of this will be paired with a glass of wine, carefully selected to enhance the flavors of this unique culinary experience.

I had the most wonderful experience at the Italian cooking class hosted by Deborah and Janette. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and inviting space that instantly felt like home. Both hosts were not only knowledgeable and passionate about Italian cuisine, but also genuinely interested in sharing stories and learning about each other’s cultures. It was such a joy to connect over delicious food and meaningful conversation. The class struck the perfect balance between hands-on learning and relaxed enjoyment. I left with a full heart, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for the traditions behind the dishes we prepared. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and enriching culinary experience in Italy!

I highly recommend if you are in Bologna to take a cooking class with Deborah! It's more than learning to cook regional cuisine, you are also experiencing the true value of traveling—making connections. Deborah not only makes delicious food, but she is also warm and friendly. One can enjoy food (prepared with her guidance) while engaging in authentic, personable conversations. If I am ever in Bologna again, I plan to take another class! 😃

I love cooking traditional Apulian dishes and find great satisfaction in kneading dough, dedicating myself to making fresh pasta and small pizzas.
