Hi from Barbara!

Barbara welcomes us in Montepulciano Station, a historic village nestled on the hills in the province of Siena, near the characteristic medieval village is surrounded by three circular walls and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the area. If you see it for yourself, you'll soon understand why: the old town sprawls over a steep hill, adorned with stunning towers and steeples, while its square opens onto the breathtaking panorama of the Tuscan countryside. Our Cesarina’s country house encapsulates this charming atmosphere. Her beautiful wine cellar is home to dozens of aging bottles of local wine, and the rest of the apartment is warm and welcoming. It is here that Barbara serves us her local specialties; simple, but with sterling character and unforgettable taste.

Barbara was a great teacher. She welcomed us into her lovely home. She cooks amazing, the food we prepared was delicious. We cooked gnochi, picci and tiramisu which are traditional foods from the Toscana. We had an amazing time. Probably the best meal we had in our entire trip.

My husband and I loved our cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed learning (and eating!) 3 amazing dishes! Barbara and her home were welcoming and comfortable and I would recommend this experience to anyone! A perfect way to end our holiday.

The evening cooking with Barbara was the highlight of our trip to Italy. As we cooked in her beautiful kitchen we talked about the history of the family menu and what life is like in Italy. These are conversations with real people that you will not get in any restaurant. Barbara also took into consideration any food allergies so we did not worry. Great experience that I would highly recommend to others!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our time with Barbara. We were warmly welcomed into her home and offered coffee before our lesson began. Barbara guided us patiently through techniques for making gnocchi and pici dough, biscotti, and a delicious tomato and vegetable sauce for the pici pasta. I was incredibly impressed by how well Barbara organized and timed the entire lesson. We look forward to repeating all we learned when back home. Thank you Barbara for one of the highlights of our time in Italy!
