Hi from Costanza!

Just a few minutes from the center of Trento, on the slopes of Mount Calisio, we meet Costanza who welcomes us in an elegant villa from the early nineteenth century, surrounded by vineyards and with a large terraced garden. On the top floor of the villa, we are welcomed into a warm and comfortable atmosphere, with exposed beams, in a charming attic. During the summer days, you can eat under the shade of the age-old yew tree, refreshed by the breeze from Mount Calisio. In this magical atmosphere, our Cesarina lets us savor Trentino's delicacies, tasty and authentic, based on traditional recipes and the fruits of the earth. This is what distinguishes Trentino, in addition to the charm of the natural environment and landscapes.

Wonderful experience - we learned how to make tortellini, tagliatelle, and tiramisu the authentic ways; had a lovely lunch with the most welcoming hosts. Definitely an experience that one must have in Trento!

We were visiting Trento after a wedding and looking for a local experience where we could learn more about food. This turned out to be the perfect choice! We arrived to a beautiful home where the ingredients and everything else we needed were laid out on the table. Costanza and Paolo gave us background on the dishes and step-by-step instructions. I loved that they offered some dishes we had never tried including Casunziei (a type of pasta) that we stuffed with beets. Then we were able to sit down to eat the delicious food and get to learn more about their family. Afterward they even offered us a ride back to our hotel because it started to rain. This is was such an authentic experience and I couldn’t recommend trying it more!

Costanza, Paolo and Domitilla welcomed us into their home for an amazing cooking experience. It was hands-on for every part, and we learned not only the techniques but also what made the dishes we prepared distinctly Trentino. My wife and I speak almost no Italian, so Paolo and Domitilla translated which gave us a wonderful opportunity to get to know the family. Costanza was a wonderful teacher. Thank you Costanza, Paulo and Domitilla for welcoming us into your home, sharing the amazing food we made, great conversations and making this such a special part of our Trentino holiday.

We had an amazing evening at Costanza. First of all we got a real warm welcome of their whole family. After that we learned how to make pasta and tiramisu, and we got many other tips about the Italian kitchen. Also the food was really delicious. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we had a great time.
