We are in Marsala, a city famous for the production of the homonymous wine, which has made it, since 1987, the "City of Wine". Our Cesarino, Gianfranco, together with his family, carries on the past, present and future of a company now in its fifth generation. The protagonists are the dishes of peasant culture, representative of Sicily, simple and essential. Ingredients of the dishes? Everything that comes from the farm at km 0, from flour to garden products, oil and wines, of course.

Incredible experience. We were treated like royalty by Gianfranco, who is warm, passionate, generous, and who made this moment an authentic and wonderful escape. Everything is fresh, home-grown with love (from the wheat to the wine, as well as the vegetables, olive oil...). We want more... We will be back. Grazie mille Gianfranco.

We’ll definitely be trying our hand at making the pasta we made there at home, and we’d love to have made some of the delicious treats that were served at lunch too. A big hug to the whole team.

WOW! What a fabulous experience! This was the highlight of our trip to Sicily! Gianfranco was amazing; providing us with a fantastic overview tour of Marsala! Then driving us up to his farm and sharing his passion of wine and food! He and his mother (with occasional sightings of his father;) invited us into their winery to enjoy a meal and taste the beautiful regional wines. We helped prepare the gnocchilini; learning the technique and the joy of preparing food in a group. The lunch was amazing with many regional taste sensations; there was no need for supper! Thank you to Gianfranco and his mother for sharing their beautiful world with us. Highly recommend; you will not regret it!
