Cesarino Gianfranco, along with his family, proudly preserves and revives the tradition of a fifth-generation winery. Here, the cuisine offers a dive into Sicilian peasant dishes, characterized by simplicity and authenticity. You will start your journey exploring the streets of Marsala, uncovering its fascinating history intertwined with the unification of Italy and the production of the famous wine. After the city tour, the experience continues with a cooking class: together, we will prepare and enjoy a traditional dish using fresh, genuine ingredients directly from our zero-kilometer farm.

This experience exceeded my expectations. Gianfranco was the consummate host. We prepared 3 dishes and enjoyed several delicious wines. The antipasti was incredible and I had to be careful not to overeat, but I was sent away with the leftovers. The farm house is worth seeing just for its collection of antique tools and artwork. Highly recommended!

Best and most authentic experience during our 2-weeks in Sicily! Gianfranco and his family were a pure delight and so passionate about their winery and farm. Everything we used during our cooking class came directly from their property. Mama Maria and sister Linda expertly guided us in making several dishes while keeping us laughing and smiling. Gianfranco was the perfect host and spoke excellent English. He provided us the history of his family and the dishes we were creating, and paired his wines with each course. The amount of food was beyond plentiful - we actually could not eat everything! The evening was magical and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this experience to everyone!

We are in Marsala, a city famous for the production of the homonymous wine, which has made it, since 1987, the "City of Wine". Our Cesarino, Gianfranco, together with his family, carries on the past, present and future of a company now in its fifth generation. The protagonists are the dishes of peasant culture, representative of Sicily, simple and essential. Ingredients of the dishes? Everything that comes from the farm at km 0, from flour to garden products, oil and wines, of course.
