We were in Italy for 2 weeks. Our experience with Alice was memorable and wonderful. She taught us how to make cavatellis, orichetti, and a long pasta prepared by rolling the dough around a narrow stick. We prepared dessert and then had a delicious lunch made from our culinary efforts. When we came home we made pasta and relived our Palermo experience. Alice was a wonderful host and a terrific teacher. If you visit Palermo, there are fantastic churches and historic sights to visit. But if you don’t include a stop with Alice, you’ll be missing an experience of a lifetime.

We had such a wonderful time at Patrizia’s Pasta & Tiramisu class and can absolutely recommend it to everyone! Booking was super easy, even though we only booked the evening before. Everything was perfectly prepared when we arrived. The recipes were traditional, simple and, most importantly, absolutely delicious. We loved that they are easy to recreate at home without a lot of effort or special ingredients. Patrizia and her mother (a real "Nonna" 😊 ) were incredibly friendly, welcoming and funny. They created such a warm and relaxed atmosphere, and we learned a lot about the traditional recipes and Italian cooking along the way. Everything was very well organized and spotless. The highlight was definitely sitting in the beautiful garden, enjoying the food we had prepared. It felt much more like being invited into someone’s home than attending a typical cooking class. It was such a lovely and authentic experience! We enjoyed every minute and would definitely do it again.
