    Mi cocina abierta es un espacio acogedor en mi ecléctica casa, llena de libros, obras de arte y diseño. Cocinaremos juntos y yo, amante de la charla, compartiré algunas historias locales fascinantes. Desde Alessandro Volta, el inventor de la pila, hasta mi padre, exponente del abstractismo de Como y diseñador textil, pasando por mi compromiso contra el desperdicio con el Banco Alimentare. Nuestra experiencia culinaria se basa en platos sencillos y saludables, utilizando ingredientes de la zona. Prefiero el mercado y los productores locales para capturar los sabores auténticos de este magnífico lago y sus alrededores. Mis creaciones se basan en verduras y quesos, los elementos clave de la cocina local, y mi filosofía contra el desperdicio se refleja en la elección de no desperdiciar comida. ¡Te espero!

    We had a wonderful cooking experience with Monica. She welcomed us into her lovely home and was a delightful host. She taught us how to prepare pasta dough and we made ravioli and fettuccini. Since I have many food restrictions, Monica chose a vegetarian menu for us. We also made tiramisu. Once all the food was prepared, Monica served it to us at her very elegant dining room table. Everything was delicious, and prepared with our own hands, with help from Monica. We enjoyed chatting with her about many different subjects, and while it was a "tourist" experience, we enjoyed the chance to spend time with and get to know a local person. It was my husband and me with Monica in her kitchen, and it was lots of fun. We would highly recommend the experience to all.

    Booked for me and my friend and it was an amazing experience. Monica was so accomadating and friendly and the instructions were easy to follow. A session filled with laughs for sure and I definitely recommend.

    This experience was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. Monica’s home is stunning, clean, and so intricately designed we were enamored. She greeted us with the best meats and cheeses we have ever had. She then taught us how to cook homemade pasta, provided us with the best wine we’ve ever had, and spent so much time teaching us about the ingredients and quality of each item. It was such an unforgettable experience and we are so grateful for her kindness and fun she brought to cooking! She even helped walk me through a few types of sauces and oils to try at home. She felt like my own nana, we are so grateful ❤️
