    On ne peut pas visiter l'Italie sans goûter au moins un plat de pâtes... alors je vais vous apprendre à en préparer deux ! On commencera par un authentique apéritif italien à base de prosecco et de petits amuse-bouches, puis on apprendra à faire la « sfoglia » (pâtes fraîches) à la main et à préparer deux formes de pâtes à partir de zéro. Cerise sur le gâteau, on va découvrir les secrets du célèbre dessert italien : le tiramisù. Après ce cours de cuisine pratique, tu pourras déguster ce que tu auras préparé pour le déjeuner ou le dîner, accompagné de vins locaux, et partager ta passion pour la cuisine italienne tout en te faisant de nouveaux amis. Il n'y a pas de meilleure façon de vivre pleinement la culture italienne que de participer à un atelier de cuisine chez un chef local !

    This was truly a wonderful experience. My husband and two teenage girls could not wait for this experience while visiting Italy. Cecilia really made it more than we expected. She was kind and welcoming. We learned a lot about pasta making and she even shared some of her secrets. The bruschetta tasted amazing with her family oil and the dinner was so delicious, we are excited to re create at home. Cecilia made this time with her so enjoyable that my family wanted to go back to her warm home again for another meal. I would highly recommend a pasta class with Cecilia.     We have pondered for hours and hours how perfectly to describe our magnificent cooking class with Chef Cecilia. I’m so afraid I can’t give it the justice it deserves. Cecilia was inviting and embraced us as if we had known each other a life time. Until you have had our experience you couldn’t possibly understand the intriguing relaxed, confident approach provided by Chef Cecilia. The same feeling of confidence we embraced as she made us feel so comfortable. I strongly suggest you look no further than her class. Cecilia was very approachable, demonstrating her technique and knowledge of cooking tips we will remember and use forever. A trip to the fresh outdoor market was such an exhilarating experience. I’ve never seen such beautiful produce, cheeses and meats. The menu was perfect. We have enjoyed in the past making pasta but often frustrated with a few ups and downs in making the pasta noddles. Cecilia addressed and shared the optimal solution to making the perfect pasta. The Tiramisu, my favorite dessert. I have never made one as I was literally afraid I couldn’t do it. Mike never cared for it but loves it now. My fear stepped aside and now I feel like a pro. We are expecting dinner guest soon and Cecilia has giving me a great menu to prepare with such authentic Italian flare.

    My husband was in disbelief that we would be in Italy and especially Florence without having booked a Cooking Lesson! I hesitated to since he doesn't cook and thought he'd be bored on our planned Italy trip for our anniversary celebration. Nonsense, he said. You really like cooking, and it will be fun to do together. So, off I went to find a cooking school - but, I didn't think he would be interested in a large group instruction in a formal school. Then I came across Cesarine! And, boy, did I read review after review about this wonderful program bringing students into the real homes and learning time-tested traditions from gracious home chefs passionate about sharing their love of their culture and food. What we didn't know and were overwhelmed by was the abundant personality and patient instruction by Cecilia. We loved every minute in her presence in her amazingly comfortable home and kitchen. She made us feel so welcome and was so patient in her instructions, never rushing or talking over us. It was such a lovely way to see Florence and share the traditions and love of creating delicious food, which we will share and continue in our home and family. The views were amazing from her home and we enjoyed our walk from the center of the city where our hotel was (about 35 minutes). It was perfect and truly memorable, and most assuredly a special highlight of our Italy trip! Thank you for this amazing program, and special thanks to Cecilia to share her love and recipes with us!

    Au sommet d'une rue juste à l'extérieur du centre historique, en face du parc du musée Stibbert, notre Cesarina ouvre les portes de sa maison, d'où l'on peut profiter d'une vue splendide sur la ville. « Cuisiner me plaît et me met toujours de bonne humeur. Je suis toujours à la recherche de la recette parfaite, et quand je la trouve, je la garde précieusement comme un trésor ». La cuisine de Cecilia est simple, mais très savoureuse : « J'aime inviter des amis chez moi, sans trop de formalités, mais en leur offrant le meilleur de moi-même ».
