Amo cucinare e raccontare le pietanze tipiche delle mie origini lucchesi. Cerco di rispettare le ricette tramandate anche nelle tecniche e nei periodi di preparazione, così il sapore e il profumo diventano evocativi. Coltivo l'orto perché, secondo me, la riuscita di un piatto passa anche dalla cura e dalla pazienza nel veder crescere gli ortaggi da utilizzare, che porta ad un grande rispetto delle materie prime.

- If I could give 10 stars we would! This was the best time out of everything we did in Italy! Our group of 7 were unanimous that everything about this day was great! Now on to the Host, we loved them! We felt at home the moment we arrived. This could not have been better. We felt like family immediately. But I need help, I received the email with the recipes and I can't find the email now. Can you please reach out to them and have them sent again. Please?
- Assunta and Leticia were a delight. We enjoyed visiting the market and being in their home. The meeting place was difficult to find and should be in more of a landmark place rather than a street address where we interrupted people in their home. Although the meal was good we did not feel that they took into consideration that there was only two of us so they was a great excess of food that was prepared unnecessarily. We did not receive the menus of food prepared. We feel that the price we paid was excessive and should have been in keeping with food to serve only the two of us, and Assunta and Leticia. Overall it was a nice experience but one that we would not recommend due to the price vs value.

- Assunta and her daughter gave us a wonderful tour of Lucca before we joined her at her home for a cooking class of lasagne and a traditional Lucchesi dessert. We had an amazing time. Thank you, Assunta, for welcoming us into your home and treating us like old friends.
- Assunta is an excellent teacher and fantastic cook. Spending the time getting acquainted, making delicious food and enjoying their beautiful location in the Tuscan countryside was a great birthday experience and possibly the highlight of our whole Italian trip. Don't hesitate on this opportunity!
