Catania ist eine besondere Stadt, hier trifft der Vulkan Ätna auf das Meer und unsere Küche erzählt von Tradition, Alltag und Gastfreundschaft.
Wir werden zusammen in einer familiären Atmosphäre kochen und dabei die Aromen und das Wissen Siziliens miteinander verbinden, Rezepte, die Mütter und Großmütter weitergegeben und an die Jahreszeiten angepasst haben. Zum Schluss werden wir gemeinsam probieren, was wir zubereitet haben, und beim Plaudern über Tradition und Gastfreundschaft „Sizilien schmecken“!

- I had a wonderful time at Antonella's. She taught me how to make pasta from scratch and we prepared two really delicious pasta dishes that we then tasted after the aperitivo. Thank you, Antonella!
- Antonella was an amazing teacher! She welcomed us into her home as if we were part of her family. We made several appetizers, a main course and dessert. We talked about the different ingredients and how they affect the flavors of the dish. When everything was prepared we set the table together and ate our delicious meal. Loved our time with Antonella!!!!! I want to go back!
- Antonella made our trip to Sicily even more special and we cannot thank her enough. Our shopping adventure through the market was one of our trips highlights. I took many pictures of the fresh vegetables , all so beautiful , the cheeses, coffees breads and pastries. We could have stayed there forever! We felt like “ home” at her apartment and cooking with her was euphoric It was a perfect day, a glorious meal and I took home recipes to make this weekend. Cannot wait. Thank you !!

- Antonella ci ha accolti in questa splendida casa di fine ottocento, ristrutturata e piena di storia in pieno centro storico, a Catania, di fronte la Villa Bellini, polmone verde della città. Una persona eclettica, poliedrica e un'ospite eccezionale che ci ha saputo guidare verso piatti che, nonostante autoctoni, non conoscevamo e di cui siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Non si finisce mai di imparare. Le porzioni ricche e gli ingredienti, scelti accuratamente in piccoli negozi di fiducia, e lei un'insegnante eccezionale che ha saputo guidarci nello stendere l'impasto dei ravioli. Non se n'è aperto nemmeno uno e hanno tenuto benissimo la cottura. Grazie mille per aver creato uno splendido ricordo e non vediamo l'ora di ricreare la tua ottima granita!

Seit meiner Jugend habe ich es immer geliebt, hier in meinem Haus, in einem Gebäude aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts in der Altstadt von Catania, zu kochen, einer Stadt, die mit der Schönheit ihres Barocks, ihrem Klima und ihrem Lavaboden den Produkten einen großartigen Geschmack verleiht.”
