Discover Italy's culinary tradition with this lesson that brings together the south and north of the country. We will begin with the preparation of bruschetta, one of the most beloved appetizers in Italian cuisine. Next, I will guide you in the creation of cavatelli, a fresh pasta typical of southern Italy. You will learn how to make the dough, roll it out and form cavatelli, small curls that hold the sauce perfectly. We will finish with pan meino, a traditional Lombard dessert made with cornmeal and powdered sugar. At the end of the class, you will enjoy bruschetta, cavatelli and pan meino, accompanied by a good glass of wine.

Ho regalato questa esperienza a mia zia per fare qualcosa di speciale e divertente insieme. Ci siamo divertite un mondo! Sandra è fantastica, completamente sconosciuta eppure abbiamo passato un paio d'ore insieme come se fossimo amiche da sempre. Abbiamo imparato a fare dei ravioli! Ripieni di attenzione, cura e risate, oltre a ricotta e spinaci! In questa casa calda e accogliente abbiamo trascorso davvero due ore nella più totale serenità. È stata un'esperienza che mi permetto di consigliare a chiunque! Cercherò di replicare presto!

Sandra is an amazing host!! I did a solo lesson and made 2 pastas and tiramisu. She created a super fun environment with music. She was very knowledgeable about different types of flours, spices and shared other recipes with me (like making fava beans and tomato sauce!). Being in an Italian home also such a warm and unique experience. After Sandra helped me to make the items, she was so professional. She asked me to sit down while she served some appetizers which were delicious! I’m vegetarian and she totally accommodated me. Then she cooked and prepared the pasta (tagliatelle and spinach ravioli) that we had made and served a delicious lunch with dessert (tiramisu). It was an amazing and yummy way to end my trip in Milan. I’d highly recommend Sandra. She is so kind and sweet; and she’s a terrific host and teacher for the classic Italian foods that we made like pasta and tiramisu!

We had a great time! I gifted a cooking class with Sandra to my friend who was visiting from abroad because I wanted her to have the one-of-a-kind experience of cooking from scratch a staple Italian food like ravioli ricotta e spinaci. Sandra is very welcoming, kind and patient while explaining the various steps of pasta-making. She is also knowledgeable about many ingredients and she gave us precious tips on kneading and on cooking. Needless to say, the pasta was delicious!

Al nostro arrivo, era già tutto perfettamente pronto per iniziare a cucinare. Sandra, sempre carina, presente e simpatica, ci ha seguiti passo dopo passo, rendendo il tutto ancora più piacevole. Abbiamo dato vita a un tiramisù delizioso e preparato delle ottime tagliatelle, accompagnando il tutto con un buon vino rosso . Mentre la pasta cuoceva, ci siamo rilassati con un aperitivo preparato da lei. È davvero un momento bellissimo da condividere con chi ami. Consigliamo assolutamente questa esperienza a tutti 🥰❤️
