I look forward to welcoming you to a cookery class dedicated to one of the symbols of Piacenza’s culinary tradition: tortelli with the ‘tail’.
After a generous welcome starter, we’ll get our hands dirty making the pasta dough, the filling and the characteristic ‘tail’ seal that makes these tortelli instantly recognisable. I’ll guide you step by step through the process, from rolling out the dough to shaping the tortelli, sharing traditional techniques and little-known secrets. Once we’ve finished making them, we’ll enjoy the tortelli you’ve made with your own hands and round off the experience with a selection of homemade desserts.

- We had an absolutely wonderful cooking experience with Samantha! Our group of six adults had such a memorable time, and Samantha was the perfect host. She was incredibly pleasant, warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable while also teaching us so much about the local food, traditions, and cooking techniques. Everything was hands-on, delicious, and filled with wonderful conversation and laughter. You could truly feel how much Samantha enjoys sharing her love of cooking and her culture with others. It was so much more than just a cooking class—it was a wonderful experience that our group will remember for a long time. We would wholeheartedly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for an authentic, fun, and personal cooking experience. She deserves every one of these five stars! I will admit the actual booking process was a bit trying. I had to follow up several times and different Cesarine staff would respond back. Once that was finally sorted after several attempts is went smoothly.
