Food Tour: discover the best places where to taste the finest local food & wine
Shared Experience
Your experience
- A welcome aperitif with a refreshing peach-based drink, after the hard work of the harvest!
- Peach-based canapés to continue the tasting of small appetisers made with locally harvested fruit
- Crispy risotto in a cocotte with speck and peaches, served with raspadùra made from soft Grana Padano
- A fresh fruit tart with white and yellow peaches – a quintessentially summery dessert to round off the meal, served with a homemade liqueur
In summer, the star of the orchard is the peach, in all its many varieties: white, yellow, nectarine or walnut peach. A sweet, fragrant and juicy fruit that will be the central theme of this special experience, through fresh and creative dishes to prepare and enjoy together.
Let yourself be swept away by an unusual and engaging experience: we’ll start with a stroll through the orchard, where we’ll pick seasonal fruit straight from the trees. Then we’ll head home to transform our harvest into a menu dedicated to peaches and the flavours of summer. I’ll welcome you with a welcome drink accompanied by delicious canapés, before we prepare and enjoy together a refined peach and speck risotto, rounding off the meal with a delicious fresh fruit tart featuring peaches.

Cristina
Cesarina from 2026Location: Pizzighettone (CR) Languages: Italian, English, German, FrenchMy name is Cristina, and my passion for cooking began in childhood thanks to my grandmother Erminia, from whom I inherited both recipes and a love for tradition. I live in Pizzighettone, a charming walled town in Lombardy, and I enjoy showcasing the flavors of my region through dishes prepared with local, seasonal ingredients. My specialties include leavened baked goods, homemade pasta dishes, and traditional recipes from the Cremona area, with influences from nearby Lodi and Piacenza. I often use vegetables from my own garden and local specialties, such as Fagiolino dall’Occhio, to create seasonal menus that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of the region.
