    I can't wait to welcome you to my cooking school, located in the heart of the historic center of Assisi. Here, among the charming streets of the city, I will guide you through an authentic and convivial culinary experience. We will begin with a welcome aperitif, then we’ll roll up our sleeves and make pasta! I will teach you how to prepare two classic Italian dishes: fettuccine and ravioli. I’ll reveal the secrets of homemade pasta, from choosing the right ingredients to the perfect technique for creating a smooth and elastic dough. After the class, we’ll enjoy together the dishes we’ve prepared. It’s an experience filled with flavor, fun, and togetherness, perfect for those who want to discover the true spirit of traditional Italian home cooking. I look forward to seeing you!

    Eleanora was so fantastic. What a lovely lady. We enjoyed her lessons so much. She spent extra time with us. We enjoyed the cheese and wine tasting beforehand as well. I did so much we even purchased wine and olive oil to have sent home. Her grandson’s run the wine, cheese and olive oil store and they are absolutely adorable and knowledgeable.

    Sono le ore 10:00 e mi trovo ad Assisi, davanti alla Scuola culinaria di Eleonora quando sento:- Good morning! E' Eleonora che mi accoglie con un caloroso sorriso. Io rispondo con un buon giorno e specifico che sono italiana e non so fare la pasta a mano. Sorridendo mi rassicura e mi inviata a una degustazione di salumi, formaggi, olio e vino locali presso il Wine Store che si trova davanti alla scuola. E' un momento piacevole dove ho modo di assaporare autentiche prelibatezze e dove conosco le mie compagne di corso: tre simpaticissime ragazze norvegesi. Ma è ora di mettere le mani in pasta! Spianatoia e matterello ci attendono; Eleonora, in casacca bianca, assume il suo ruolo mentre noi, con tanto di grembiule con la scritta "Cesarine" e cappello da chef, ascoltiamo attentamente le indicazioni che ci fornisce. Finalmente ecco la nostra prima sfoglia e, tra esclamazioni di stupore realizziamo le fettuccine, ma il massimo dell'entusiasmo arriva cin i ravioli che sembrano opera di un mastro pastaio. Ci divertiamo tantissimo! L'esperienza non è finita: dobbiamo assaggiare i ravioli. Eleonora ha imbandito la tavola proprio come quella di un pranzo in famiglia e dopo aver brindato con "Skal" assaporiamo il frutto del nostro impegno. Grazie di cuore, cara Eleonora, per l'accoglienza con cui ci hai accolto e la passione che ci hai trasmesso. Porterò nel cuore il ricordo di questa giornata indimenticabile ma vorrei concludere con una frase tratta dal racconto: "Il pranzo di Babette". " La felicità può consistere nel donare tutto ciò che si possiede, in uno scambio di reciproco piacere che coinvolge sia i sensi che lo spirito"

    We had a wonderful afternoon with Eleanora in Assisi, learning to make linguine and ravioli. She met us promptly at 1:00 and walked us across the street where we enjoyed a delicious aperitif of organic cheeses, wines, and meats. Then the lesson began! Her kitchen was perfect for our group of 14- square tables with everything we needed, laid out perfectly. Eleanora's instructions were easy to follow and she walked the room, helping those who might've need an extra hand :) It was an afternoon of fun and laughter and we all left with the anticipation of making pasta at home. Eleanora, thank you for such a fantastic day!
