Discover local products with a street food tour or a visit to a local producer
Local Producers Tour: we will meet at my place, where I will welcome you with homemade cake, local bread with butter and a selection of homemade jams, cappuccino and locally produced apple juice. Afterwards I will take you for a tour in the surrounding beautiful nature at the feet of the Italian Alps: we will first visit an apple farm where they also produce apple related products (vinegar, juices...) and honey, then we'll head to a classic typical farm with stables and dairy production and we'll finish our tour in a local little winery. In each of these places you will be able to see how and where the products are made, and we'll have time to relax while chatting about life in Valle d'Aosta and enjoying a little tasting.
- Adriana in Aoste was welcoming. We had a great time there in both her kitchen and garden. Dinner was absolutely delicious and she shared tips to be able to do it again back home in France. I'm Milanese by origin but Valdostana by adoption, I've been living here for 10 years but I've always spent my holidays in the Valley, and its cuisine has always been synonymous with vacation and well-being for me. In everyday life I cook tasty but healthy dishes for my family, but when I invite friends and family I like to go wild preparing more elaborate and rich dishes, as are often those of the mountain tradition.
